Taking a brand way too far

Well I was browsing around my local Boots I was shocked to find this on the shelves - easy4men. I thought to myself "It can't be from easy? Can it?" but it has the familiar bright orange colour and white font on the packaging that always makes me shudder.

What the hell is going on?

In my opinion the Easy brand has got way out or control in a similar way to Virgin (still makes me laugh every time I hear Virgin Brides though), I mean who in their right mind would buy this low quality rubbish from a company that runs a low cost airline? This is what else they have set up to date: easyJet, easyInternetcafe, easyCar, easyValue, easyMoney, easyCinema, easyBus, easyHotel, easy4men, easyJobs, easyPizza, easyMusic, easyCruise and finally easyMobile. Grrr.

And another thing - why is "easy" not spelt "Easy"? It is a proper noun you fools.

What I really found strange was the use of the description of "no-nonsense" man that would buy these products! Please, the picture of Stelios having a shave put me off further! Personally, tolietries need to have a shade of class and the orange packaging looks disgusting!

Nice to see you blogging again Dave! Keep up the good work!

Exactly Teg! Like a female friend said to me "you would never get that for girls" - obviously implying that us men have lower standards when it comes to toiletries, which we don't.

By the way, thanks, it's good to be back :D
