Reading about the Million Dollar Homepage in newspapers and online it made me realise that with an original idea you can make a large sum of money in the real world, but online you can make a large sum of money but with none of the effort. The idea Alex Tew, a 21 year old student came up with, was to sell digital pixels on a web page for advertising space. In my opinion it is a ridiculous idea to sell pixels - but it was original idea and has worked a treat for Alex, who deserves every penny for pulling it off.
Of course with an idea that good there has been lots of copying of the idea and cashing in. If there are any fellow internet entrepreneurs out there who have an idea but need a web person to help you out then I would love to get involved in a project that has the potential to be used by millions of people. (In other words, I am looking for freelance web design projects :D)
